Enthroned

Enthroned

Producer 2016

Enthroned by Jenny Macdonald is the story of a woman’s quest to find and accept herself and her right to be fully here. I worked with writer and performer Jenny on the Dublin premiere as part of First Fortnight Festival, 2016 and subsequent performances at New York Fringe Festival in the same year.

Princess Jenny is an everyday heroine on a quest to become a queen with a throne of her own. Along the way she needs to fend off some adversaries from both outside and within. The play follows Jenny’s journey as she travels the world discovering the things we need to say and what it takes to say them. A ritualistic, modern fairytale, ENTHRONED charts a woman’s journey to confirm her right to existence in a world that still tells women to be less.

Enthroned has since toured widely as part of Solo Sirens – established by Jenny Macdonald to amplify female voices onstage and beyond.
